Universal has a campy and fun new musical show based upon the Creature from the Black Lagoon. If you are looking for fireworks, Sea World, Knott's Berry Farm, and Disneyland will all have them on Saturday with Disneyland also having a special version of the show on Friday and Sunday as well. All this and news, construction photos, and travel tips in today's In The Parks Disney and Theme Park Blog.

Hong Kong Disneyland is set to expand with three new lands wrapped behind the far side of Adventureland. The new lands will include unique attractions with some familiar influences. Grizzly Trail will feature a Big Thunder Mountain style roller coaster in a Grizzly Mountain setting, Mystic Point will have a Haunted Mansion style ride with elements and theme similar to the Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Land will be filled with Pixar themed children's attractions. The expansion addresses the current lack of attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland and resulting poor attendance. Join us for full descriptions and detailed photos.

Disneyland Paris is arguably the most beautiful of Disney's Magic Kingdom style parks. With its ornate castle, beautiful arcades, enhanced versions of classic attractions, and delightful nuances, Disneyland Paris was built to improve upon the classic park that Walt built in design and style. The entire process of designing Disneyland Paris was captured in glorious detail on 320 pages and with 750 pictures - including 250 renderings from Walt Disney Imagineering - in the book Disneyland Paris : From Sketch to Reality. It is truly an essential book for Disney theme park fans. Join us as we take a closer look.
