We have a very special column for you today which was written by little Laura Hamand, who’s just 7 years old. She and her friend Shaylee Osborne visited the new Heartlake City land at Legoland California. Angela took the photos. We sincerely appreciate your support of these two young ladies and their generosity in sharing their experience with MiceChat.

Last week I went to Legoland. I had fun with my friend Shaylee. First we went to the Sea Life aquarium. We did the quiz trail. It was really fun. You get a map and follow the quiz trail around the aquarium answering questions. At the end you get a sticker and you learn about different sea animals. The aquarium opens an hour before the rest of Legoland so that’s where we went first.

LEGOLAND-SEALIFE

After visiting Sea Life we went to the new Heartlake City area in Legoland. I really liked that place. First we went to Mia’s Riding Camp. It’s a cute carousel! You get to ride on Lego Friends horses. They have saddles; some have first place ribbons and they all have a tail bow. Then we visited the Heartlake Stables. They showed you how to build horses. We came back and built later. All around Heartlake City there are missing cat posters. You can follow the little cat tracks to find the hidden Lego cat. The cat’s name is Maxie. Be sure to look for him. We got to have a snack at the City Park Crepery. I had a Nutela crepe and Shaylee had a brownie. We shared them. They were yummy.

After that we visited other parts of Legoland. We went on the Dragon coaster and the Royal Joust in the Castle area. It’s got horses! We played the Duck game where you pick up ducks and get a prize for the number that’s on your duck. We both got unicorns. We also spent some time at the Lego Water Park.
