Welcome back to Dateline Universal Orlando! This time around the block we’re taking a look at all the happenings at Universal Studios Florida. There are lots of signs of change yet to come. We think you’ll have a lot to talk about in the comments and we are very curious what you think about the changes coming to the park: Fast and Furious attraction, loss of Lucy, and all the work being done to get ready for Halloween. Lights . . . Camera . . . Action:

Welcome to Universal

Banners are going up along the Hollywood section of the park for the 25th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights.

Scare actors usually perform near the outdoor props.

Pumpkin trees!!! The pumpkins will likely be lit up at night. Can’t wait to see them in all their Halloween glory.

Welcome to Springfield U.S.A.

Fear Factor Live is down because Bill and Ted will soon make their most excellent return!
Universal has revealed that Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue will close later this year. Very interesting! Constant state of change at Universal Orlando Resort. The energy is contagious. What do you think is going here folks?
London is looking neat and pretty. Hard to resist the temptation to pop in for a Butter Beer.

Disaster will soon give way to a Fast and Furious themed attraction. The new attraction is set to open in 2017.

The ride was said to have a new story set in San Francisco.
Disaster will be closing on September 8th to make way for the new attraction.

Lot of work still to go before the horror commences in a few weeks. The themes of all the haunted houses will be revealed midnight tonight (Thursday)!
The Halloween decorations are rapidly going up on the themed streets.

Love this gag.

The old I Love Lucy tribute has been officially announced to be replaced by an interactive Hello Kitty merchandise location. We’ll miss Lucy . . . we did love her. But there’s no doubt that Kitty will sell more merchandise.

No word yet on Twister. But this rapidly aging attraction just can’t last forever in today’s climate at Universal. This is prime redevelopment space.

Well, it’s time to go home folks.

That’s it for this week. Are you excited to see Halloween Horror Nights? Would you like to see a Fast and Furious ride at USF? Will you miss Lucy? We are looking forward to your comments below!
