Welcome back to Dateline Universal Orlando! This time around the block we’re taking a look at all the happenings at Universal Studios Florida. There are lots of signs of change yet to come. We think you’ll have a lot to talk about in the comments and we are very curious what you think about the changes coming to the park: Fast and Furious attraction, loss of Lucy, and all the work being done to get ready for Halloween. Lights . . . Camera . . . Action:

The old I Love Lucy tribute has been officially announced to be replaced by an interactive Hello Kitty merchandise location. We’ll miss Lucy . . . we did love her. But there’s no doubt that Kitty will sell more merchandise.

No word yet on Twister. But this rapidly aging attraction just can’t last forever in today’s climate at Universal. This is prime redevelopment space.
