Adventureland, Animagique and more
by Max Fan, DLP Welcome on Instagram
Hello everyone, We have a quick photo update for you from Disneyland Paris.
How about a little tour of Walt Disney Studios Park?
This fountain is now surrounded by plants as it is every summer.
A permit has been issued by the city of Serris for the demolition of the stage at the place of the stars. The technical installations are being removed.
The flame in the Reign of Fire in the Studio Tram Tour scene is no longer active. Note also the poor condition of the decor.
Welcome to Paris!
The themed water fountain has been replaced with standard models that are used throughout the park..
The building housing the show Animagique is in such poor condition. No neon, paint flaking, the sign has been missing for several weeks. But we noticed that the guardrail has been repainted in a new color palette. Remember, a renovation and updating of the show has been promised for first quarter of 2016.
You can see where the neon has been removed.
The renovation of the grounds at the Fantasia Garden continues.
Let’s hop over to Disneyland Park.
Main Street sees some renovated facades.
The sign in the entrance to Frontierland is still under renovation.
In the two months that the park has been offering the Frozen Sing-along Show, over 500,000 guests have seen it!
Guests seem to love it.
At the main entrance to Adventureland, the wall frescoes have been redone and the restroom modernized.
The walls around the restaurant Hakuna Matata and Cool Post have been repainted.
The Café de la Brousse finishes its renovation
After several months of renovation, all the ropes of the suspension bridge have been replaced.
A little tour of Fantasyland.
Since July 27th (and through December 18th), “it’s a small world” will be closed for a 5 month renovation to include a new facade with new colors and alterations to the interior (new paintings, new dolls and new costumes, remastered sound, and a number of surprises!)
Finally, the logo for the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary, which technically begins in April 2017, was revealed at the D23 Expo. Unfortunately, nothing else was officially announced for these parks.
There you have it folks. Lots of refurbishments going on and a few rough spots still to work out. What do you think of those Frozen sing-a-long shots?
