Labor Day weekend is over, MiceChateers, but don’t be glum – it just means a shorter work week for you Monday to Friday folks, right? It seems that as soon as I finish something, I have ten more things to finish.

FandomVerse Expo

Dusty Sage drove sensei Terri Hardin and me out to the middle of Foster Farms Chickens skateboard commercialville, where we were to appear on a panel called “Secrets of Disneyland”. I was the moderator. I remembered everyone’s name, so good for me. The crowd was quiet but we learned later that they really loved the presentation, because they kept coming up to the table and saying so! Terri read the room perfectly, seeing that there were a lot of crafty cosplayers and artists there, and fine-tuned the discussion toward creation in theme parks and in art. I completely forgot about moderating and just listened. It was wonderful. I learned so much, and I can’t even sew. I learned more important things, stuff I ran in the door that night and told my daughter to remember forever. The links on her website to sign up for her email list are down right now but you can purchase her awesome book“Tales from Terri: A Disney’s Sculptor’s Life, Vol. 1” with foreword by Marty Sklar here or by emailing [email protected]

“No…There is Another.”

Force Friday, huh? Empty shelves by 10AM, but I didn’t really hear any terrible horror stories on my newsfeed, and if you could see the people on my f-list, you know I would have heard about it. So that’s it until December, huh? Yeah, no. On my husband’s birthday, November 17th, the Darth Vader-Inspired PS4 will be released. They let us know all about it at the D23 EXPO last month.

Playstation blog:

“The Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle will include a custom 500GB limited edition PS4 system (CUH-1200 series) and DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller inspired by Darth Vader. The fully customized PS4 features an image of Darth Vader, as well as a repeated Star Wars logo across the top of the system. The Darth Vader edition DUALSHOCK 4 is inspired by Darth Vader’s chest panel and features the repeated Star Wars logo on its touchpad.

Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle

The bundle also includes Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition, as well as a digital voucher to download four classic Star Wars titles – Super Star WarsStar Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter – playable for the first time on PS4, and sporting enhanced graphics and Trophy support. “

I had a chance to play Battlefront at E3. It’s a delight. I died within nanoseconds, because I have no fast twitch whatsoever, but it looks and handles really great. They’re also doing a Walmart exclusive Disney Infinity system with pretty much everything. Wait..yeah, everything. Also a Battlefront/classic games/controller with a 500GB regular PS4. Did I mention that it’s my husband’s birthday? Actually, he prefers fighting games and stuff like NiGHTS into Dreams, so I think my wallet is safe. YMMV.

Whatever the future holds, I hope it’s safe, happy and fun. I’ll see you in the near future – that means Thursday! If you have any news to share, announcements, stuff you want reviewed, extra passes to IAPPA for me and Alice, or just want to say hi, drop me a line at [email protected] .
