Hi everyone, here’s the latest news from Disneyland Paris.
Welcome to Disneyland Park. Contrary to the US and Asian Disney parks, Disneyland Paris doesn’t install the Halloween decorations until the first part of October.
The Discovery Arcade sign is still missing on the Town Square side.
Let’s look into Discoveryland.
The special smoke effects in Space Mountain Mission 2 are deactivated again.
The Pizza Planet restaurant is missing its sign at the entrance. The temporary sign has been here for several months.
C3PO has lost his hand in the queue line on Star Tours.
In Fantasyland, the fortification of the castle is now painted in pink. This part of the castle stage had started to fade to white with time.
Work is still in progress on it’s a small world. Scaffolding continues to obscure the façade. Re-opening is scheduled for the week of Christmas.
In Adventureland, the waterfalls effects are still missing in the Skull Rock to Adventure Isle.
The statues of Carl Fredricksen and Russell in the movie Up are missing since several weeks.
Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost finally has its railings installed behind the vegetation. Very good rendering.
In addition, repairs on the walls of the bridge have been painted grey.
At Frontierland in the Frozen Fun zone… nothing to report, apart from the closed train station.
Restaurant Fuente del Oro received paint touch-ups on the front (the sign is temporary).
In Frontierland, decorative elements are being renovated.
The renovation of the roofs of the buildings of Frontierland continues and now extends over the roof of the shops of Thunder Mesa. The building has been entirely renovated by the painters of Disneyland.
Renovation has begun on the outdoor facade of The Lucky Nugget restaurant even as work on the roof continues. The sign has been replaced by a temporary one and a new warmer palette is adding to the facade, replacing the clear gradient by a Brown, orange and burgundy contrasts, which works better with the main color of orangeish beige. Note that this is only the beginning and that the railings of the balcony were not redone.
At the entrance to Frontierland, the sign as well as the torches of the Fort Comstock are still being rehabilitated for more than a month. Metal structures have been sanded and repainted. The entire fort needs to be renovated.
Let’s go to Walt Disney Studios Park!
The center of the Front Lot is closed, hiding the fountain.
The stage in the Production Courtyard is being dismantled.
Nothing new at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith.
The dog, Zig Zag, is still missing his tail in Toy Story Playland.
No news for Ratatouille and Studio Tram Tour.
In the little ride of Cars, one car was out of service.
The building which houses the Animagique show continues its renovation with a complete refresh of the facade in a new palette of colors. The result is successful. Violet turns red, pink becomes orange. As a reminder, a renovation and updating of the show will take place in the first half of 2016.
At the entrance to the Park, an area bordering four of the eight turnstiles is under renovation. A tent was even installed in front of the entries.

See ya real soon.
