Great Update Cory! I’m always ready for Food and Wine Festival. In fact, MiceChat has some upcoming events at Epcot, a FREE scavenger hunt on Sept 29th and a Sip and Nibble around World Showcase on Sept 30th. You can sign up for both in the MiceChat store:

I cannot wait for the Sip n Nibble!

Great update. I’m really ready to get back to Disney World. We haven’t been since 2007 and at this rate it’s not looking like we’ll get back until 2014 at the earliest. :(

At least by the time you get back, all of Fantasyland will be completed and waiting for you!

What about a Test Track update?

    • Timekeeper

Yeah, that should be done right about now or getting close it being finished.

      • Cory Disbrow

Truth be told, there isn’t all that much visible from outside Test Track. They tore everything apart right in front of the attraction weeks ago, and then there hasn’t really been much movement with it out there. Next week, I’ll make sure to take a pass on the monorail and photograph it for you guys though!

Disney had a “live chat” a week or so ago about it and revealed a new marquee concept and then said the opening would be “late fall”, whatever that means.

Isn’t The Barnstormer called the Great Goofini or something now?

    • Cory Disbrow

The title is now The Barnstormer starring the Great Goofini, or something to that tune. When they first announced the attraction, they made it seem like the Barnstormer name was going away, but when they opened it, it remained.

Thanks, I was convinced the name had changed altogether. The sign in the article had me guessing though.

It’s going to be my sons first ever coaster when we go back in January.

The work being done in Canada is for a Disney Vacation Club kiosk that will become a permanent fixture for the park.

Oops, my bad! I thought it was for Food and Wine. Thanks for the correction!

Are those ugly railings on Casey Junior ever going to go away? They really destroy any attempt to establish a realistic train setting. Thanks for the update.
