This article was sent to us prior to the horrible acts of terrorism in Paris. Following the events of Friday, Disneyland Paris remained closed on Saturday. We run this story today as a sign of hope that the spirit of the holidays will help ease the pain being suffered by so many. Our hearts are with all the victims and their families.
The photos you are about to see were taken on November 7th. While Disneyland Paris Christmas officially kicks off on November 14th, much was already up and on full display. – Max DLP Welcome

This year we find the same version of “Disney Dreams Of Christmas” as last year. Castle illumination starts 15 minutes before the show.
We’ll break away from Christmas for a moment to take a look at the Frontierland project. The river is now surrounded by brown fences. This is due to the renovation of Big Thunder Mountain and the Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing. The river is now in the process of being drained.
The level of water drops 10 centimeter per day. It will take 3 weeks to fully drain.
Note that Disney is wisely using the Riverboat Landing as the queue for the Jack Skelligton meet and greet.
« It’s a small world » continues its renovation. Part of the facade has unveiled a new color palette similar to those of Tokyo Disneyland. You’ll note the more saturated colors.
Also in Fantasyland, the waterways were cleaned prior to a Press Event.

Some Christmas merchandise.
Even some 2016 merchandise.
Even the characters are in their Christmas outfits!
Main Street Station continues to be surrounded in scaffolding.
At Christmas, the “Disney Magic on Parade” is unchanged. However, the parade has been shortened by a vehicle, reducing the parade to only six floats.
At the Walt Disney Studios, it’s now the turn of the right side of the main entrance, behind the turnstiles, for some pavement renovations. The tent allows visitors to enter the park by temporary access.
Christmas Orchestra schedules are shown on the sign.
Part of the original pavement has been cracked for some time, it shows more and more.
Renovation of the pavement from the square of stars continues to advance.
The paint touch-ups on Studio 3 are now fully completed.
The Newport Bay Club hotel rehabilitation is coming to an end soon. The scaffolding should be removed by the end of the year. Next it will be the turn of the convention center to be renovated.
In Disney Village, Christmas cottages are back with signs indicating the products being sold. Some new. We are pleasantly surprised by the theming of the chalets.
