MiceChat RoundUpCrew!
This past Sunday, guests at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure said goodbye…making some final memories to both opening day attractions and more recent but still beloved experiences and shows. As the Disneyland resort moves forward into that challenging and promised future, both Fab News and Dateline Disneyland take time to provide pictorial farewells and recaps of the weekend events, both on and along the Rivers of America and throughout the resort. Not all happenings this week were Disneyland related though. Disney by Steph introduced her No Movie Trailer club… There are even rules! Loose rules, really maybe more like guidelines. The goal to help preserve that magical movie watching experience… So take a look and maybe join the club!

Not to be left in the shadow of recent Disneyland events, Dateline Disney World takes a closer look at significant and exciting changes happening in 2016, at Epcot in Walt Disney World. With so much happening this year, don’t forget to celebrate the MiceChat anniversary with us January 29 -31 at Disneyland resort and beyond!

Were you able to visit your favorite Disneyland attraction or experience one last time? Do you have a favorite fond memory of the past, like Walt Disney stated? Share it with us in the comments section below.

Disneyland’s Rivers of America close for extended period as Star Wars expansion begins
Disneyland‘s historic Rivers of America and Disneyland Railroad saw their final guests over the weekend as they closed to undergo major changes to accommodate the upcoming Star Wars-themed expansion coming to the park. The River will be rerouted, a change which will effectively reduce its size and the Railroad will receive a new path that hugs the River’s new northern shore. The changes to the River come alongside permanent closures of the nearby Big Thunder Ranch area, which will be absorbed completely by the new Star Wars area. Meanwhile, Disney California Adventure bid a fond farewell to its popular Aladdin musical, as the Hyperion Theatre gets ready to stage a new musical based on Disney’s hit animated film, Frozen.

UPDATED! Fab News: A Fun Farewell To Disneyland’s River
I’m writing this Sunday night, after a fun day at the park for the Last Day of the River (it’s not really the last day of the whole river, but it is the last day we’ll enjoy it for quite some time and the last time we’ll see it as Walt envisioned it). Let’s start by taking a look at the fantastic new concept artwork for the River!
