| Disney California Adventure hosted its first Food and Wine festival this weekend in 2006, and this will be the final weekend for the 2016 version of the festival.With so much going on at Disneyland resort, we are looking forward to the beginning of the busy summer theme park season. At Disneyland, Star Wars Land will continue to take shape. At Disney California Adventure, we hope to welcome back the Pixar play parade, sidelined by the recent Food and Wine festival and something new and different in Hollywood land as the now defunct Mad T party infrastructure is still in place.

Disneyland Update – In a Galaxy Behind Frontierland
Howdy MiceChatters, happy Monday! There’s all sorts of interesting things going on at the Disneyland Resort right now. Star Wars construction is moving at a much faster pace than previous construction projects we’ve covered for you in the past. Food and Wine Festival continues to delight. And a string of refurbishments are underway.

The legendary MiceChat Gumball Rally returns on May 14th. The Rally is a full day adventure through Disneyland to see how many attractions you can ride in a single day. Put together a team of 2 to 4 friends or family members and prove to the world that you are the biggest Disney nerd of them all!!!
- Compete in teams of 2, 3, or 4 people.
- You don’t have to be a trivia buff, ride warrior, or theme park nerd to play. The game is designed to put everyone on a level playing field.
- You can play at the speed that you like. Take it easy or tear through the park. It’s up to you.
- For one low price you get the game and Awards Party, complete with entertainment and prizes. (admission into the parks is NOT included)

Located near both Steakhouse 55 and Goofy’s kitchen, at the Disneyland Hotel, this Bar/lounge was inspired by The Jungle Cruise and several other Adventureland attractions.
