MiceChat Round Up
This week in 2005, Disney Theme parks around the world kicked off “The Happiest Celebration on Earth” marking the start of the 50th anniversary celebration at Disneyland. That historic 18 month long celebration of Walt’s original park, began with a special ceremony in front of Sleeping Beauty castle with guests LeAnn Rimes singing the “Remember When” anniversary song alongside Art Linkletter and Julie Andrews. The debut of the “Remember… Dreams Come True” anniversary fireworks show alongside new shows & attractions, was just the start of a new golden age at Disneyland that’s still fondly remembered.

As Disneyland wraps up its 60th anniversary this summer (Maybe?), many new and possibly troubling changes are on the horizon at the Happiest Place on Earth. This week’s roundup offers the latest updates on the progress of Star Wars land construction as well as possible drastic changes to Disney California Adventure. Some of which may have you angry.
