Pandora Growing and More at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

It’s time for another wonderful Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re looking at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Let’s go! There is a ton of stuff to check out this week. From Pandora to flora, from Starbucks to zebras, we have a ton. We once asked Joe Rohde why Pandora fits in with the message of Animal Kingdom. We asked a skeptic and we came back a moderately convinced believer. He said that, “The message of the park is conservation and exploration, understanding the world, the universe around us.” Rohde continued,”The message of the films was an appreciation and knowledge of the world we live in. That’s totally in line with what Animal Kingdom is about.” Do you lovely readers agree?

It is hard to see, but there are smaller, forced perspective floating mountains that have been recently installed on top of the main E-Ticket show building.

More Discovery Island trails still blocked off.

Work still being done on this area on the backside of the Tree of Life.

Flights of Wonder is back to having a full show schedule.

Although, there are some tarps still up on the outside of the Caravan Stage.

Rivers of Light seating area looks complete.

Credit to Rohde and company for creating a necessary evil like a seating area without greatly impacting the area around it.

These are in the RoL seating area near Dinoland.

The large dinosaur has been painted a very different color from its previous yellow.

Over in Epcot, the America Gardens Theater, located at the American Adventure in World Showcase, will be hosting Night Ranger this weekend.
