While some of the Memorial Day weekend crowds have left the Disneyland resort, both locals and visitors from out of town will find the parks very busy still.Though summer hasn’t officially started, with multiple Grad nights and park visitors eagerly trying to see Frozen Live, the new stage show at Disney California Adventure, crowded and packed theme parks are the new normal.

“Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” opens the door to new magic at Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure kicked off summer this Memorial Day weekend with the debut of its big new Frozen — Live at the Hyperion musical stage show. With limited showtimes and high demand, the show is selling out quickly every day as guests flock to see how the much-hyped replacement for the theatre’s long-running Aladdin musical measures up. Today we have a photo-heavy look at the new show with some thoughts on how it turned out. We also fill you in on the latest Star Wars construction at refurbishments at Disneyland.

Frozen- Live at the Hyperion Review
The first reviews of the Frozen show in DCA are coming in. The set is dominated by a video projection system, and the show drags on at over an hour long. And yes, there is at least one AA Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Hans, and Olaf AA (oh, AA that’s African American, not Audio Animatronic) The Sven puppet look amazing, by the way.
