There are all sorts of things going on at Walt Disney World right now. We’ll open with a bit of news from Disney World and then dive into a nighttime photo update from Disney’s Animal Kingdom that we think will have your roaring.
Meanwhile, Epcot continues to host the “Sounds Like Summer” concert series thru July 23rd. They feature some of the best tribute bands around. Stayin’ Alive, a Tribute to The Bee Gees will take the stage at the American Gardens Theater in World Showcase thru Saturday, July 9th. Starting Sunday July 10th, Bruce in the USA – A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen will perform thru Saturday July 16th.
Disney Springs recently debuted their newest dining experience. Frontera Cocina offers tasty dishes including Oaxacan Red Chile Chicken and Salsa Verde Shrimp Enchiladas Suizas. Served alongside freshly made salsas and guacamole, this exciting new restaurant features an open kitchen and serves up a contemporary Mexican dining experience. There is also a quick-service taco counter for grab and go meal.
New at the Magic Kingdom is a Disney pin trading scavenger hunt. This Disney PinQuest showcases Steampunk inspired artwork. Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland or Curtain Call Collectibles on Main Street, U.S.A. will have adventure kits available for purchase. This fun for the whole family activity is only offered in the Magic Kingdom and just for a limited time.
