Welcome back to Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re heading into Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what’s happening in the park. Quiet on the set . . .
Welcome to the Studios!
Fun vintage Star Wars posters outside the Legends of Hollywood gift shop.
Tower of Terror looks its best on gloomy days, and when it isn’t being rethemed to Guardians of the Galaxy like out at DCA.
125 minute wait at 9:30am? That is unusual.
Please don’t ruin our Tower with a Guardians overlay!
There are some cool new baked potato options at Fairfax Fare.
Disneyland mugs at Trolley Car Cafe because reasons?
Lego Star Wars promotion. I’m more ready for Rebels season three in September.
Star Wars Launch Bay.
Launch Bay wait times have dropped significantly since opening back in December.
One Man’s Dream is still shilling Pete’s Dragon instead of playing the Walt film. The film opens this weekend, so perhaps Walt can return soon.
It really seems like the third Toy Story Mania track is making a difference. Waits have been much more manageable.
No visible work from this area of the park on either Toy Story Land or Star Wars Land.
March of the First Order!
A rumor popped up last week suggesting that Great Movie Ride might be changing to the Great Mickey Ride. Stay tuned on that one.
Nothing new to see here.
We finally got confirmation recently on the old Pizza Planet location becoming Pizzerizzo, a Muppet themed eatery.
Close up of the concept art.
Demolition vehicles on site preparing land for Star Wars construction.
Path of the Jedi now has a permanent sign.
Jedi Training check-in is now located on the far side of Indiana Jones.
Time to head out!
That does it for this week! Do you like what’s happening at the Studios? Do you wish things would move at a slightly faster pace? Let us know in the comments!
