I want to thank those of you that have been thinking of me and helping me in different ways, from the bottom of my heart. In a few months, I hope this illness will be Ancient History.

There is a LOT going on!

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 BluRay Hits the Streets TODAY!!!

So go get it!

You watched it, right? Because I told you to. Well, don’t do stuff because I tell you to, do stuff because it’s good, and this show is so very good. Yes, season one, it was finding its place, but in Season Two, it hit its stride. Dave Filoni and his team were able to reach out and bring in some beloved Clone Wars characters, most importantly Rex and Ahsoka, to become part of (but never overpower) the narrative. Every character was important, and had their story to tell. This animated series truly respects the Star Wars universe, and the storytelling is wonderful, especially at the bookends of the season. I, like every other Star Wars nerd out there, ugly cried at the final episode. And then I watched it again.

But there’s more than just the excellent series on this beauty. The BluRay comes with some swell extras: A Rogue One Trailer, some episodes of Rebels Recon, which helps you get in-depth on the episodes, a talk with Dave Filoni about the epic battle in the last episode between two of the characters, and my favorite, a showcase of some of the coolest Star Wars “Easter Eggs” scattered throughout the series.

If you get the DVD, you just get Rebels Recon and the Easter Eggs along with all of the amazing episodes. It’s available everywhere you buy media.

fabsays AND, there’s something BRAND NEW that was just announced yesterday. They’re launching a new parade this Halloween season, the “Frightfully  Fun Parade”! This looks like it’s going to be as wonderful as the one at Walt Disney World that Alice and I loved so much when we visited last October! Certainly a great reason to join the MiceChatters at the party this year.

fabsays I talked to Jeff Tucker at the #ScaryFarm announcement on August 25th and he is VERY excited  about seeing all of us MiceChatters in the fog October 1st! As some of you know, Jeff is the host of the announcements, the Ambassador of #ScaryFarm at places like Midsummer Scream and San Diego Comic-Con, he’s worked on several different experiences throughout the years. A big kid and fan himself, he’s also our eyes and ears throughout the planning process, the “fan proxy”, as it were. Or “guinea pig”, if you prefer. He attempted a run at City Council, if you recall, but didn’t make the entry by two signatures. He says he’ll start earlier next time, that he learned a lot from this experience, and that it definitely hasn’t soured him from trying again in two years, which is fantastic, because we really do need theme-park friendly people in office in theme park cities. He cites watching “Dave” and “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” multiple times during one of his first jobs at Blockbuster Video in Buena Park with inspiring him, and says he’s still an optimist. That’s what we need, Jeff! Also, Jeff says if I’m not fully recovered in time to walk around, he’ll put me on a wagon and tie a cow-catcher to the front of it…and decorate it with fake blood, so people will stay out of the way. Now there’s a City Councilman that’s going to get things done!

fabsays The Hollow is not a maze. It’s not a show. It’s not even a Skeleton Key room. Hold on to your Boys and Berries: It’s an entire new SCARE ZONE!

From within the fog, the legendary Headless Horseman and his army of the undead are ready to unleash a reign of terror in the new scare zone, The Hollow. Guests entering the frightful 6-acre area will be terrorized by the souls of fallen soldiers and local farmers that have escaped their shallow graves.

Fun.com:  If Marvel Suits You. (And You’re Hella Skinny)

Fun.com has Marvel’s Avengers suits  if you feel like bounding as Iron Man and you don’t want to do casual clothes or a drress.

I wanna get this one for Noe, but they don’t have big and tall – yet:

Someday.

I think the ones that look like superhero suits on the outside are a bit much. I like the Secret Identity ones. They ARE very “I’ve got a secret”, you know?
