MiceAge Disneyland Rumor Update – Monorail, Marvel, and Major Projects
With both summer and Disneyland’s successful Diamond Celebration quickly winding down, the Anaheim parks will begin a rather predictable fall season, filled with some of the busiest weekends of the year as the locals replace the summer tourist crowds. But the next couple months will just be the calm before the storm as new entertainment, attractions and even more construction arrives at the Disneyland Resort late this year and through 2017. In this update we’ll fill you in on the current thinking behind the Paint The Night and Electrical Parade swap, what’s ahead for new entertainment offerings that haven’t been announced, and why the Disneyland Monorail will be closing for most of 2017.
Disneyland Photo Update: De-Dazzling Disneyland
Today isn’t just a holiday, it also marks the official end of Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration. Decorations will come down this week and Halloween will replace it. By this time next week the 60th will be completely gone and pumpkins will be everywhere. Let’s say our farewells to some amazing nighttime spectaculars, Diamonds, and the extended 60th anniversary of the Happiest Place on Earth. We have lots of news and photos to share.

New Halloween Parade for Mickey’s Halloween party
Good news for all who are attending one of the special paid Halloween Parties at Disneyland this year! Disneyland is premiering a new Halloween Parade, which will feature Characters from Nightmare Before Christmas, your favorite Disney Villains, and the Ballroom Dancers and Gravediggers from the Haunted Mansion, with music that will be unique to this parade!
