Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, we’re checking out the fall decor at the Magic Kingdom. But first, the news from around Walt Disney World:

This weekend, Epcot starts a two month long “ Food and Wine” celebration! From Marketplaces where you can sample savory foods to fun music festivals and cooking demonstrations led by World Renowned Chefs… There is something fun for everyone this year.

Things to be on the look out for this year: “The Marketplace”  is host to many different options for food and beverage, but new this year “Chocolate Studio” featuring the perfect mix of desserts and wine. “Islands of the Caribbean” will showcase the flavors and wines of the Islands.

The “Eat to the Beat” concert series has lined up some names you might recognize (Performances are 530pm /645pm /800pm at the America Gardens Theater):

  • Sept 14-15th will feature “ Wang Chung”
  • Sept 16-18th will showcase “ Starship: featuring Mickey Thomas”
  • and Sept 19th -20th will feature “Air Supply”

The” Magic Kingdom”  continues to celebrate Fall and the approaching Halloween season with “Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party”. Though a separate ticket is required,  this party is a wonderful alternative to the more “ Scary” Halloween events in the area.

Speaking of the Magic Kingdom, let’s see how the park looks . . .
