MiceChat Podcast: A Sense of Mystery in the Air: It’s time to venture into the dimly lit fog of theme park Halloween once again. The major parks have opened their Haunted attractions, monsters roam the streets, and guests line up in droves (take my money please) to be scared out of their wits. On Today’s show, Doug and Dusty are joined by horror god Rick West to discuss Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, Virtual Reality, Tips and Tricks, and all sorts of gossip about the theme parks.
Mousetalgia: We welcome special guest Eddy Collins, who has spent decades with the Disney Company. Collins started doing custodial work at Disneyland and eventually became Global Sales Manager and a spokesperson for the resort. Eddy talks about his first job at the park as a sweeper, and how he quickly became a prestigious VIP tour guide, then moved to guest communications and management, and on to special events for the opening of Disney’s California Adventure (after a run-in with the Disneyland Ambassador program and roles in TV/radio broadcasting).
The Sweep Spot: In this episode we welcome another former Custodian, but this time not from Disneyland, but Walt Disney World. We get to talk with Kevin all about his time working at WDW in the Magic Kingdom, College Program, and more. Plus the latest in the Disneyland Resort Current Events with Ken, Lynn and special guest Russell Flores!
