Disneyland Paris is a resort on the upswing. Let’s take a look at the renovations and additions and a couple things that need further attention.
On Main Street USA, the Gazebo is behind walls in preparation for the 25th anniversary decorations. The celebration begin in one month!
The refurbishment of Ribbons & Bows Hat Shop facade has completed.
Disney is removing the signs of “Space Mountain : Mission 2,” and the top of the Catapult has been filled in preparation of “Hyperspace Mountain.”
In the area around Star Tours, many elements have appeared for the reopening at the end of march. Landscaping of the outdoor queue and line railings have been installed. Cobblestones have been laid throughout the area. The X-Wing is resplendent on its new platform! This redesign of the area is perfect.
Pirates of the Caribbean is under a 6 month transformation to add effects and Jack Sparrow. The outside of the building is also under renovation. The attraction is set to reopen in July of this year.
It’s time for “Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration” at the Studios. We still have our Tower and are putting it to good use!
Unfortunately, the ride experience at Ratatouille is greatly degraded. The projections are jerky and buggy at times, not to mention the erosion of the ground that makes the ride feel bumpy in places.
In the moat of the Castle, new led spotlights were installed on the fountains. The new facilities are brighter and higher-powered. What’s more, all of the projectors on Disney Dreams have been replaced, offering better quality and more contrasting projections in the castle. It is obvious that the arrival of the 25th anniversary and the new show, “Disney Illuminations,” are bringing great enhancement!
