Just one week ago we were celebrating Halloween and already the holidays are in full force at the Disney Parks. The Christmas Day Parade was taped last weekend  and the Muppet’s are being moved out to make way for Prep and Landing.  Does the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm mean more Star Wars for the parks?  Time will tell, and you can discuss it here.  If that isn’t enough news for you, we are hearing rumblings of Disney buying Hasbro as well and the announcement of Transformers: The Ride 3D at Universal Orlando! All this, plus a new Communicore Weekly, and the latest articles from MiceAge and MiceChat all assembled in one easy place for you in the MiceChat Disney News Round Up.

Muppets Theater Transforms to Prep and Landing in 4D this Holiday Season
The Muppet Theater will soon be hosting a 4-D version of Prep and Landing: Naugty vs. Nice this Christmas Season. Maybe they should be bringing the Muppets back for Christmas, and Give the Bug’s Life Theater a chance to smell a little better. Give us your thoughts on this addition!

Disney to Acquire LucasFilm
Disney and George Lucas have been working together for more than 25 years, but with Disney’s purchase of LucasFilms, Star Wars and Indiana Jones, have become a permanent part of the Disney Family!
