Disneyland Update: The Bunny Hop
Spring Break was in full swing this week, and it brought the Disneyland Resort to a crawl at times. The crowds seem to have brought the warmth as well, as southern California lived up to its sunny reputation with most days in the low 80s. Bunnies and eggs abound at the Disneyland Resort as we approach Easter.

NEW – MiceChat Disney Podcast – Food & Wine, New & Blue, Fallon & Flumes: It’s a big update from Doug and Dusty as they discuss what’s new at the Disneyland Resort, the massive new attraction set for Walt Disney World, and two new attractions which aren’t getting a lot of positive buzz. Listen, laugh, and love . . .

Mousetalgia: Dave and Becky are back from two weeks at the Walt Disney World Resort and share some stories of the culture shock between west coast and east coast Disney vacationing. From underwhelming food offerings (with some stand out exceptions) to living on property and getting around the resort, we discuss some typical Walt Disney World experiences, and try to offer a Team Mousetalgia perspective on the basic Walt Disney World experience. Does renting a car ever make sense? Which resorts are worth the cost? And of course, we take another look at the attractions – which appeal to kids, which appeal to Disneylanders, and which are just overall winners? We also talk Disney Springs, haircuts on Main Street, and food options including character dining buffets (Akershus – good, Chef Mickey’s – meh), Be Our Guest, 50s Prime Time Cafe, Pizzafari, and the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Plus – a new Pirates of the Caribbean book is on the horizon; the world’s rarest Haunted Mansion poster goes up for auction, Green Army Man drills runners, and Dave reviews Moana and questions the authenticity.

The Sweep Spot: In this episode, we are very happy to have our former Disneyland Custodial Manager Ray Siedjas on our show. Ray was only the second person to head up the Custodial department at Disneyland. He started in 1964, and retired in 2011. He had a huge influence and impact on what Disneyland Custodial is today. When you go to a Disney theme Park you can be sure that, it is as clean as it is because of Ray. He has so much great info to share and I am sure you will enjoy this. Plus the latest in the Disneyland Resort current events and much more.
