Toy Story Midway Mania has has added FASTPASS. The new machines are located just across from the attraction next to the Paradise Pier Lagoon.

Waits immediately soared to up to 90 minutes with an average  wait of 80 minutes.

The entry now backs up as guests wait for their FASTPASS time and Standby guests are sent off to the right.

Standby moves very slowly in the simple outdoor switchback queue.

Before FASTPASS the queue typically averaged 30 minutes.

Here is a quick reference for how the queue area is now being divided:

At the ride entry, FASTPASS heads forward and Standby goes to the right.

The new FASTPASS machines are located just across the way on Paradise Bay.

You can walk in from the sides with no barriers

The FASTPASS machines are very plain and not as well themed as other California Adventure FASTPASS machines.

Of course, the real reason FASTPASS has been added here is in preparation for MaxPass, which should be rolling out soon. While FASTPASS will remain free, MaxPass will only be available for an additional fee. It will operate similarly to Walt Disney World’s FASTPASS +, but without MagicBands.

This FASTPASS had a 4-hour-and-15-minute wait attached. Get yours earlier in the day before they sell out.

On a sad note, we would like to send our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Don Rickles, who passed away this week. Don was the voice of Mr. Potato Head and had a long and successful career.

We will have a full Disneyland update for you on Monday.

How long would you be willing to wait to ride Toy Story Midway Mania?
