Hello, and welcome to Dateline Universal Orlando! This week, we’re checking out Universal Studios Florida. As always, there’s something big on the way. Let’s take a look.

Welcome to Universal!

Race Through New York merchandise available at the front of the park.

Looks like a stationary version of Despicable Me is available.
Does anyone feel like a large tree or set of trees was cut down here? I remember more greenery.
New Coke Freestyle machines at the Monsters location.
The Fallon ride is open and running as normal now.
This is where you pick up your virtual queue pass.
The machines are very easy to use.
Lots of Grad Bash things throughout the park.

We’ll get to this movie a little bit later.
Sadly, the corner store that sold candy bars and sodas has been changed into an Auntie Anne’s.

Look, up in the sky . . .it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s . . . more Universal Studios construction.

Fast and Furious: Supercharged is moving right along.
Details going on the outside of the building.

The graffiti is gone in favor of promotion for F8.

Some of the cars from The Fate of the Furious are on display.
Smart promotional idea here that captured lots of guest attention.

Remember, this ride was supposed to open this year. Imagine what that synergy would have been like?

More Grad Bash signage.
The view of the landscape with Supercharged in the background.

We have to wonder how much longer KidZone will last.

Millhouse is missing!

At the prop shop, you too can own old Universal attraction props.
Chance from HHN for sale.
Even as recent as this year’s Mardi Gras.

That wraps things up for this week. Are you excited for Supercharged? Wish it would have opened this year? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
