Look, up on the stage! It’s a bird. No! It’s a plane. No! It’s…it’s…Superman, the new face character at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles, California. On Saturday, April 29th, 2017, Six Flags Magic Mountain held a festive media event to introduce, for the first time ever, the Superman face character to their meet-and-greet lineup.

The event was held under the DC Universe gateway to several attractions with themes based on characters from the DC Comics’ Superhero Universe.

The area was nicely decorated with red, yellow, blue, and Superman logo balloons.

DJ Ricky Rocks brought the beats and entertained the crowd while Superman was flying over LA and getting clearance to land. Some sang, some danced, and some even wore Superman capes to show their support.

At 1 pm, the announcement was made that Superman had finally arrived!

After the announcement, Superman leapt off the stage in a single bound to meet with his adoring fans.

Superman, man of steel, fighting for truth, justice, and the American Way…and also appearing at Six Flags Magic Mountain for you to have your picture taken with him. I guess when you can fly faster than a speeding bullet it’s pretty easy to get around.

Of course, all of this is buildup for Magic Mountain’s big new ride of summer, Justice League: Battle For Metropolis – an interactive dark ride.
