Tom Sawyer’s Island reopened to guests today at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Dusty Sage broadcast live on Facebook, and we invite you to enjoy the journey here:

Dusty noted that the Pirates Lair sign has been removed, you can see all of the construction from the back side of the island, and there are lots of new supports and structures on and around the stage area.

Please enjoy these photos from an old friend of MiceChat who was first on the island this morning.

Was this wheelchair lift always there at the canoe loading area?

Aside from the loss of the graveyard at the back of the island. Everything looks great and it’s wonderful to see the return of this Disneyland treasure. We will have more in-depth coverage on Monday.
