A brand new Big Thunder Trail to Fantasyland was recently unveiled, Tom Sawyer Island has reopened for exploring, and there is continued progress on “The Rivers of America” as it nears its debut in July with a reimagined “Fantasmic!!” .

Disneyland Photo Update – The Big Return
Things are starting to return to normal at the Disneyland Resort. Tom Sawyer Island is back from an 18 month closure and crowds on Father’s Day were down right enjoyable. For a few fleeting moments, Disneyland has felt like its old self.
Hogwarts Lights Up at Night
We journey to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood to se the brand new nightly Hogwarts Castle projection show. While not a Disney style nighttime spectacular, it’s absolutely a magical kiss goodnight. Photos and glorious spoiler video!

Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island has reopened after nearly a year and a half, and Mark Twain, Columbia, and the Disneyland Railroad are scheduled to open by the end of July! We also learn about some planned changes to the Auction Scene in the Pirates attraction. ~ Aladdin
Opening Dates for Pirates Lair, Fantasmic, River Attractions, and DLRR Confirmed
After the closure of much of Frontierland for nearly a year and a half, Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island has opened, with a July 17th Date planned for a modified Fantasmic, and the Disneyland Railroad, the Mark Twain, and the Columbia scheduled for a July 29th opening.
Changes to Pirates of the Caribbean
The Auction scene in Pirates may be going away at Disneyland Paris, but what about the Auction Scene in Anaheim? Could it be replaced too?! Tell us what you think about changing this iconic scene in the Pirates attraction.
