New Fantasmic Debuts at Disneyland
The opening to Fantasmic asks a question that many of us have been wondering about for over a year and a half. Will the new version of the show be embraced by fans or will its changes go too far? Our months of waiting are over. On Saturday the 15th, Fantasmic returned to the Rivers of America in Disneyland’s Frontierland.

The Main Street Electrical Parade Project
Twenty years ago, the Main Street Electrical Parade Glowed Away for ever, but we all know that story changed, rather quickly. The MSEP has returned to Main Street Disneyland this summer, and is suppose glow away again, by the end of August. Cline also shares some last-minute pro tips for attending the Expo. Then, Jeff takes us along on his trip to Van Eaton Galleries for the “Walt Disney’s Disneyland” live auction, and describes the atmosphere and the happenings, and lets us listen along as the brownline presentation map that Walt Disney and Herb Ryman created in a whirlwind weekend is auctioned off for – well, if you haven’t already heard, we don’t want to ruin the surprise! D23 Expo: Walt Disney Archives celebrates the swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean
Every other year, the folks Walt Disney Archives delivers a show-stopping exhibit at D23 Expo and this year is no different. This year the Archives takes us through Disney’s storied history with pirates in TV, film, and theme parks in the sprawling A Pirate’s Life for Me: Disney’s Rascals, Scoundrels and Really Bad Eggs exhibition of props, ephemera, art, rare documents, and Audio-Animatronics. There’s plenty to see here, with the bulk of the exhibition from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies starring Johnny Depp. Let’s take a look.
