Disneyland merriment and holiday cheer are in abundance in this week’s MiceChat Round Up.  But all is not perfect this year, as it’s a small world’s projection show is a shadow of its former self, just take a look at let us know what you think.  Thankfully Disney California Adventure offers a beautiful tree lighting ceremony this year.  You can read about it here. Meanwhile Al Lutz chimes in that Cars Land may be cloned in Tokyo and watered down for Orlando. All this plus a brand new Communicore weekly and a ride through the newly refurbished Storybook Land canal boats.  Finally, we can’t wait to introduce you to MiceChat’s newest Columnist, Keith Gluck.  He actually liked the Rocket Rods folks – controversial stance for a new writer, don’t you think?

Take a look for yourself and tell us what you think!

They should get rid of Club 33, along with FastPass and the fancy railcar. I hate elitism. Everybody should be the same at Disneyland. And I hate all the projections, too (Pirates, Nemo). Maybe if it were a time before motion pictures and television it might have had an impact. But they are completely out of place at Disneyland 2012 and a cheap way out. Why not just project the entire rides if that’s where things are headed?

Nice Communicore video. Lots of great photography, too.

Nice Storybook Land video. I really hate those new safety railings on the bridges, though. Full on Coney Island. I guess they’re trying to uglify Disneyland so that DCA will be more appealing after spending $1 billion on it. Too bad.

    • http://micechat.com Dusty Sage

It doesn’t look so bad in person, but the railings are way out of scale with the attraction.

California Safety squad had to force the changes! It doesnt look back but was needed.
