Thanks to discoveries this summer, new details about Ken Anderson’s plans for a haunted house at Disneyland have been unearthed, and we take a deep dive into the various ideas and proposed floor plans for what would become a groundbreaking attraction. From a conceptual link between the pirates of New Orleans Square and Walt Disney’s proposed haunted house, to an old manse haunted by Disney’s Lonesome Ghosts, we mull over Ken Anderson’s various ideas for the haunted house before it became known as The Haunted Mansion.
