Welcome back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where some big changes are on the way, and some smaller additions have just opened as the park continues its transformation. Let’s poke around and see what’s new.

Welcome to the Studios!

Lots of Last Jedi merchandise is available throughout the parks.
As well as Halloween merchandise. You’ll note that most of it is the same as what is being sold at Disneyland . . . but with “Walt Disney World” swapped out for “Disneyland.”
Echo Lake is currently empty.
Scaffolding for refurbishment of Min and Bill’s.

The old path from Star Tours to Muppets is now closed.

Because Grand Ave has now opened!

The Baseline Tap House is now open along the new Grand Avenue, serving up California beers and pretzels.

There’s a nice outdoor seating area.

I’d love to see a Red Car at DHS after this whole project is done.
The drink menu for Baseline.
It’s not all beer. Wine and cocktails are on tap too.

Those letters are from the old Writer’s Stop logo, the former tenant of this location.

Stone IPA!

Some of the details on the few facades are from the old Streets of America and were repurposed for Grand Avenue.

You can get mighty close to what will be the main entrance to Galaxy’s Edge.

The street then curves towards the Muppet area.

View of Galaxy’s Edge from PizzeRizzo.
Progress on the First Order battle attraction.

Part of the old Jack Sparrow building is now missing at what will be the new entrance to Toy Story Land.
One Man’s Dream is now officially “Walt Disney Presents.”
Part of the attraction remains unchanged.

There is now a large model of next year’s Toy Story Land towards the end of the exhibit.
Think Tow Mater’s at Disney California Adventure’s Cars Land.

A description of what’s to come.
There is also a VERY small model of a portion of Galaxy’s Edge.

Full promotional blast for Episode VIII. Who saw that trailer this week?!?

If you are the one person who hasn’t seen the trailer for The Last Jedi, here it is for you. And even if you have seen it, watch it again. This is the universe coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Porg is the word.

Luke’s lightsaber is available to buy now as Rey’s lightsaber.

Time to head out!

That does it for this week! Do you like what you see? Excited for what’s to come? Will Hollywood Studios finally be a full day park? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
