The Imagineers, those men and women who helped Walt Disney bring his creations to life, have achieved legendary status among theme park enthusiasts. It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is the life story of one of the most beloved Imagineers, Rolly Crump. Covering his long and varied career, including designing some of Disney’s most famous attractions and working directly with Walt himself, Rolly’s stories weave into a lighthearted yet riveting narrative of his life and accomplishments. Packed with over 200 photos, many of which have never been seen before, It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is a tribute to the life and work of a true original.

Great article guys! I’ve got to agree with Jeff that it was a terrible mistake for Disney social media to over-hype the dragon when it was just for the mommy bloggers and shills invited to the press event. By getting the general public and fans excited about something they’ll never see, they just ended up killing the positive buzz they would have gotten otherwise. It was sort of a social media disaster for them as lots of folks out there feel cheated after so much Disney hype.

The silhouettes of the party taking place in the upstairs of the Gold Dust Saloon at night is one of my favorite details in all of WDW, particularly since the glimpse of it is so fleeting.

Thanks guys for another great Communicore Weekly (the greatest online show)

Personally the dragon should be used for the firework displays, and maybe durinvg a nightime parade. Hey, maybe it could be used in Fantasmic as the DHS show is way due for an overhaul. That would be spectacular. It mighjt be the first time that WDW do something in this decade that could beat USO and IoA at the presemt time
About the campaign, it was cheesy, so much that it could be smelt for miles (I know terrible joke). Howver, the host was very enthusiatic, if a bit too much, but it goit my attention. Sadly, I was not able to see it, but it looked amazing.
Disney is you are reading this, use it more often!!!!!

Thanks Again George and Jeff. Communicore Weekly is surely living up to its name

I do not have Castle Envy, but I do have Dragon Envy.

If Disney can do this kind of thing, WHY AREN’T THEY ACTUALLY DOING THIS KIND OF THING? Sorry. Not yelling at you… Thanks for the report!
