Celebrate: A Street Party has made its debut at Disneyland and to say that it disappoints would be an understatement. It is a creative mess, a thematic abomination, underwhelming, and not in keeping with the high standards of Disneyland. If all goes as planned, early Friday morning (March 27, 2009), Imagineering will alter the marquee on the “One Man’s Dream” attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios adding “D23 Welcomes You.” The One Man's Dream exhibit displays many items from Imagineering and from the Disney Archives. While the attraction itself will remain largely unchanged for now, it has added a D23 display case and could possibly see some enhancements in the future.

The new Celebration Station BBQ at Disneyland is nearing completion. Over at California Adventure, the construction in Paradise Pier just gets bigger and bigger. Mickey's Fun Wheel looks like Christmas morning with the first of its cars hung like wrapped presents on a tree. The new Paradise Pier sign as replaced Mickey's ears above the loop on California Screamin'. Mickey's Fun Wheel and the Paradise Pier carousel are both nearing completion of their transformation.
