Captain EO To Return To Disneyland For Halloween?

Al Lutz is back with another of his famous Disneyland updates and this is an amazing one.  The eye-popping news is that Captain EO may temporarily return to the Magic Eye Theater in Tomorrowland, replacing the lackluster Honey I Shrunk The Audience, during the Halloween season.  Fans and visitors alike will also be thrilled to hear that Jack Skellington's ghost dog Zero will fly the high wire during the evening fireworks this Halloween as well.  And plans are developing to significantly raise the cost of annual passes due to the overwhelming crowds that the 800,000 member program generates.  All this and news regarding Fantasmic's most unfortunate dragon in today's update!

Tron: Legacy

Let the hype begin, Tron 2 finally has a name and a teaser trailer.  The long anticipated film will be called Tron: Legacy and is billed as a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world.  Disney used San Diego's geek-fest, Comic-Con, to launch the promotion for Tron 2.  The plot centers on Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), who has been trapped in the world of Tron for 25 years.  Join Alain Littaye as we take our first look at the upcoming Disney film.

Disney Imagineering said a fond farewell to their former boss, Marty Sklar, in an all star event this past Thursday.  Among the talented Disney notables in attendance were Alice Davis, Rolly Crump, Richard Sherman, Mickey Steinberg, Orlando Ferrante, Walt Peregoy, Julie Svendsen, Tony Baxter, Eric Jacobson, Eddie Sotto, Tom Morris, Bob Weis, Barbara Hastings (Marty's assistant for many years), Dave Smith, Dave Snyder, Nelson Meacham, Frank Armitage, Valerie Edwards, Kim Irvine, Craig Russell, Bruce Vaughn, Robert Coltrin, Stan Dodd, Kathy Mangum, Chris Runco, Greg Wilzbach, Paul Comstock, Dick Cook, Steve Anderson, and many more.  And to prove Marty's star power, Richard Sherman himself personally serenaded Marty and entertained the crowd on the "Big D Patio" at Imagineering.  We've got the scoop and photos from the Disney and More Blog.
