A brand new book from a Disney Legend, as told to MiceChat’s own Jeff Heimbuch!

The Imagineers, those men and women who helped Walt Disney bring his creations to life, have achieved legendary status among theme park enthusiasts. It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is the life story of one of the most beloved Imagineers, Rolly Crump. Covering his long and varied career, including designing some of Disney’s most famous attractions and working directly with Walt himself, Rolly’s stories weave into a lighthearted yet riveting narrative of his life and accomplishments. Packed with over 200 photos, many of which have never been seen before, It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is a tribute to the life and work of a true original.

Thanks for filling-in Keith! The best Epcot pavilion is certainly a tough one. Consider the beautiful gardens and scenery of Canada, the festive atmosphere of the Germany Biergarten, the magnificant Japanese Pagoda, or the fanciful Hat Lady in the United Kingdom. However, if forced to pick one pavilion for top honors, I would have to go with Mexico. Aside from being the only completely indoor facility (great for getting out of the Florida humidity, heat, and rain) it also has multiple dining options (two with beautiful lagoon views, and one riverside), a magnificant facade, lively marketplace, tequila bar, and even an attraction with your favorite Disney characters from the Three Caballeros. So… do you want to vote again?

It was my pleasure, Johnny! I had a great time. And yeah, best pavilion is certainly a tough one. As much as I adore the Gran Fiesta Tour, my favorite attraction in World Showcase is actually the American Adventure. That said, I just feel the most “transported” when I step into the France pavilion.

      • Jeff Heimbuch

How about I “transport” you to the best pavilion…which is obviously Norway!
