A brand new book from a Disney Legend, as told to MiceChat’s own Jeff Heimbuch!

The Imagineers, those men and women who helped Walt Disney bring his creations to life, have achieved legendary status among theme park enthusiasts. It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is the life story of one of the most beloved Imagineers, Rolly Crump. Covering his long and varied career, including designing some of Disney’s most famous attractions and working directly with Walt himself, Rolly’s stories weave into a lighthearted yet riveting narrative of his life and accomplishments. Packed with over 200 photos, many of which have never been seen before, It’s Kind Of A Cute Story is a tribute to the life and work of a true original.

  1. Will we get an extra long trip report from Jeff as he drives across country? From a native Californian – welcome to the Golden State! You didn’t look into state taxes, did you? :)

  2. Hey guys; Great show this time. I haven’t seen the Lincoln movie yet but will do so soon.
The Lincoln book you mention that they got stuff in the movie was probably the memoirs of John Nicolay and John Hay. There were Lincoln’s personal secretaries and wrote volumns of information about Lincoln and their time with him and the family. But if you think this Lincoln movie is great, just wait until the next generation Lincoln AA figure comes out. The new one at Disneyland is fantastic but wait until they marry a Lincoln figure to the under the stage walking mechanism of Ben Franklin in American Adventure in Epcot. Or better yet the free walking of Honda’s ASIMO robot.
