Disney Animal Kingdom Wilderness Explorers
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a new game, open since early June, thus joining Magic Kingdom’s two games and Epcot’s cell phone based game (hmm, will DHS get one? Will it be Star Wars themed? I kind of think Muppets would be a hoot). DAK’s game is called Wilderness Explorers, and it is decidedly low tech.

Disney California Adventure rolls out the red carpet for “The Lone Ranger” world premiere as the Enchanted Tiki Room turns 50
Disney California Adventure rolled out the red carpet over the weekend for the World Premiere of Disney’s new action-adventure film, The Lone Ranger. Saturday’s star-studded event included the likes of film stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, along with a number of other stars and hundreds of guests who purchased tickets to the event, benefiting the American Indian College Fund.

Tip of the Week

Save time when eating in the Parks!

A stroll through Disneyland and Magic Kingdom is sure to eventually be met with the delightful smell of popcorn, vanilla, fried chicken, and even turkey legs. You can not help but want to stop and grab a bite. But try to do so at peak times and you’ll end up at the end of a long line. To beat the crowds, aim to eat between the hours of 10:30 to 11:30am for lunch and do an early dinner around 3:30 to 4:30pm. During these times, you’ll have the best chance to get a table at the table service restaurants and you’ll wait less time in line for your food at quick service establishments. In short, eating at off-peak times gives you more time for rides and shows!
