  1. Makes me wish they shot it at the main Warner Studios here. This looks WAY cooler than the Florida attraction and the one they’re building next door to Warner’s at Universal Hollywood. ANOTHER reason to save for a vacation in England.

    • Yeah, I wouldn’t want to ride WWOHP, Hogwarts Express, or Gringot’s coaster.

  2. Typo – Gringott’s Car? I pride myself on knowing the books and movies and couldn’t figure out who Gringo was. If I ever get back to England I shall move right in and live here on these sets forever with Dobby, my House Chihuahua. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your experience with me.

    • Gringott’s is the bank, the car is the way you reach the vaults in the bank and will be a ride at Universal..

    • Gringott’s Bank.

  3. Wow, this is amazing! Thank you for the report and all the photos. As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, the thought of beng able to go and sort of step in to the wizarding world….I can’t even begin to explain :)

  4. We have been to this & it is really fun! If you are a Potter fan, it is the best. Our 26 year olds had a blast with the wand training.
It was also fun to see how the kids had grown from their early costumes to the later ones. Definitely go if you are in London.

  5. It looks wonderful! When you are looking at the sets, is it a guided tour or can you take as long as you want?

    • You can take as long as you like, apparently the longest time a visitor has spent there was 11 hours! We took about 3 hours, but we could have easily stayed longer.

The first section where you watch a short pre-show, then a movie and the Great Hall are done accompanied, but after the Great Hall you are free to roam. It is supplies to be a one way route, but there is little to stop you wandering backwards and forwards if you want to. There are two large sound stages and an outside area (where you can by Butterbeer).

  6. Wow – I suddenly have a lot more sympathy for all the people from other countries who read about Disneyland and Disney World but it’s too far away for them to get there…this looks so awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your pictures so those of us far from England can check it out!
