Universal Orlando Resort is looking jolly. Christmas decorations are now up around the resort, CityWalk construction is pressing ahead at full steam, Diagon Alley gets more details by the day, and we have an extra special interview with Super Fan Thomas J Wagner who has been visiting Universal Orlando since its opening year.
Universal Orlando Resort Christmas
Christmas decorations continue to go up at Universal Studios as they prepare to kick off the Christmas celebration on December 7th. The main Entry Plaza, New York streets, and Hollywood section have all been decked out with decorations as they provide the backdrop for the park’s Macy’s Holiday Parade.
Diagon Alley Details
The details on the facades at Diagon Alley have been going up more rapidly these past few weeks, and now they are beginning to get some color and detail sculpting. These facades are really turning out to be beautiful.
CityWalk Christmas Decorations
Christmas decorations are now up at CityWalk, which will be rocking this New Year’s Eve when CityWalk plays host to Orlando’s largest 21+ New Year’s Party with Six Party Zones, unlimited gourmet cuisine and Orlando’s biggest dance floor.
Starbucks
Now that Red Oven Pizza Bakery is open, Starbucks construction is hitting full speed with all the walls now torn out and the ground prepped for the cement to be poured.
Don Quixote
The facade for the venue rumored to be Don Quixote.This new facade will be a stylistic change from the rest of CityWalk and on a larger scale. We should be seeing a lot more changes coming to CityWalk over the next year which will more closely match the scale of this construction.
CityWalk Kiosk
A large new LED display with signage for American Express has been installed on the walkways to the parking structure.
