The talking trashcan, PUSH, has been discontinued at the Magic Kingdom. At least, that’s true as of this writing; I wouldn’t be too surprised if this changes yet again after this story is published.

Disneyland Update and MiceChat Anniversary Recap

MiceChat was invited by Busch Gardens for a behind the scenes look at Falcon’s Fury and the conversion of Timbuktu to Pantopia. The tour was led by three of the main engineers for the new ride and land makeover.

Beauty and the Beast under the stars sing along

Dreams of Color informs us about the next Dapper Days weekend on February 22nd and 23rd at the Disneyland Resort. What is Dapper Days? Think of it as a day to dress up in classy fashion, or a day to put on your Easter Sunday Clothes a little early, This is not an official Disneyland event, just something to make the day a little more special by showcasing your elegant attire from vintage-inspired classics to chic contemporary looks.

Mousetalgia Episode 277: Disneyland Records, Jimmy Johnson
Disney producer and author Greg Ehrbar joins Team Mousetalgia this week to discuss the history of Disneyland Records and the new book “Inside the Whimsy Works,” an autobiography of Disney Legend Jimmy Johnson which Ehrbar co-edited. Johnson created Disney’s record division, and Ehrbar provides a wealth of information about the early days of Disney recordings, discussing Little Golden Records, See Hear Read Records, and stories about some of the behind the scenes players like Tutti Camerata, the producer who set the early vision for Disneyland Records in place.
