Great episode! They should be once or twice a week.

After the ghost town and log ride updates, the calico mine train will get finally get my money into Knotts cashiers on my next DL vacation. The Alice in wonderland reboot excites me more than Big thunder, but doesn’t justify the ticket price increases like Cars Land did. A new main st. alley and parade(I’ll only skip) leaves me debating a DL 60th birthday trip.

    • That’s Awesome eicarr! I’m so excited to hear you’ll check out the Calico Mine Ride. Yes, Knott’s does have a ton of somewhat annoying steel around still, but they are getting back to their theme park roots, and I think you’ll enjoy just walking around the park and absorbing the newest efforts. As for Disneyland, I don’t know, it’s the 60th…I’m sold just on that. There has to be a few things worth visiting for…right? 😉

      Thanks for the feedback!

    Just catching up, forever behind!
Congrats, Dusty Sage! I think the Birthplace project is pretty cool, and it’s neat to see the love and effort put in so far. If I get up to Fanniversary in Chicago, I’d love to be able to just drive past and think ‘…wow…’
I wish I was closer to the West Coast, so that I could see all the Knotts’ offerings, but I’m still excited for where I live- I have Kings’ Island 2 hours away, and Kentucky Kingdom, which was closed for a number of years after Six Flags pulling out, taking all kinds of things with them. The park was abandoned and trashed- the new (original) owner has completely turned it around, cleaned it up and it looks fantastic!

    • Thanks so much Wendygirl.

Speaking of Fanniversary. I attended the first one today at the Disney Studios. It was really well done and a lot of fun. If you can make the one in Chicago, I think you’ll like it.
