I have three Disneyland Paris pictorial updates for you coming up featuring all new shots from Paris’ Magic Kingdom! As always, the photos are thanks to Max Fan, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster.

With this first update we’ll go around the Disneyland Paris park and as you will see, the weather in the last few days of August was rainy and cloudy.

Let’s move along Main Street towards Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Good news, the double decker vintage car is back!

In Frontierland, the Silver Spur Steakhouse facade is still under refurbishment, though the restaurant is open for guests.

Same bad weather that day in Adventureland…

…and to ride Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril…

…but good news, the Jungle telephone on which guests can learn how to survive in the jungle is back, and the loudspeaker works well (so far).

A cool night shot of Adventureland entrance…

Here’s a look at the wait boards on Central Plaza and at the one of the Walt Disney studios. You can see something amazing, although not surprising. The wait times are now longer at WDS than at DLP. The opening of the new Ratatouille ride is obviously causing at least some the longer wait times…

…but the good news is that a 15 minute wait at Space Mountain or 20 minute wait at Peter Pan’s Flight and even 50 minutes at Big Thunder is pretty unusual for an August day. No guests were heard complaining.

P1350748

Now look at the wait times at WDS with an 80 minute wait at Crush’s Coaster, 60 minutes at at TSL Parachute Drop and, no surprise, 130 minutes at Ratatouille.

On Remy Plaza, a small food cart is used to sell some Ratatouille merchandise until the opening of the “Chez Marianne Souvenirs de Paris” shop.

The new Crush’s Coaster entrance is now finished, and in September WDS guests waiting in line will be able to play a Crush Coaster mobile game on their smartphones. In the game, the goal is to get as many sea stars as possible while you avoid being hit by underwater mines.

At the entrance of the WDS, the “Earful tower” is still under refurbishment with new logos expected to be painted on the top.

I’ll be back in Paris in a few days and in France almost all of September, and of course will go at the parks and finally see the new Ratatouille ride for myself. Not only can you expect plenty of cool pics when I return, (as well as my opinion on the Ratatouille ride) but I have also a good news for all of you who want to order my Disneyland Paris “From Sketch to Reality” and would like to have it signed specially for you. Normally I can’t do this as I’m too far from Paris, but during September I will be able to personally sign each copy that is ordered, either in French or English!
