Pumpkins have invaded Main Street U.S.A. folks! Yes, Halloween is well on its way and the wonderful pumpkin figures have begun to pop up in Town Square. We take in the amber and orange hued decorations, then move on to the work at the heart of the park. The hub project moves forward while over in Adventureland the Tiki Room is revealed to show a lovely refurbishment on its exterior. We then swing by Peter Pan’s Flight by way of Haunted Mansion to see that many of the construction walls have come down. There has also been some progress on the Astro Orbiter in Tomorrowland.
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom!!
As you noticed in the first photo, the pumpkins that are normally in the Train Station garden are now adjacent to the turnstiles, with the other ones right inside the park.
All of the other Halloween figures are up in Town Square since the last time I visited.

MiceChat WDW Gumball Rally
One great day, two huge parks, a world of maniacal fun, how many attractions can YOU ride?
The MiceChat Walt Disney World Gumball Rally returns on October 26th. Teams of 2, 3, or 4, will race to see who can ride the most attractions in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot in a single day. Players who have competed in the Disneyland version have raved, “It’s the most fun I have EVER had in the park!”
Who can ride the most attractions in a single day? Could it be you? Event includes dinner buffet, game packet, prizes and lots of fun!
MiceChat Sip and NibbleJoin us for a leisurely stroll around World Showcase, sampling the food and wine offerings along the way. Each of us will have a lanyard with a marker attached so we can record our progress. Those who desire to partake of the adult beverages will also sport a small glass on a lanyard to conveniently share “sips” along the way.
Another scrim pops up on Main Street.
To Adventureland!
The scrims are down at the Tiki Room, and it looks absolutely beautiful. Good to see Disney giving some love to this classic building.
Scrims on Tom Sawyer Island.
The Haunted Mansion gift shop that is taking the place of the Yankee Trader will be Madame Leota themed.
I rode Haunted Mansion this week since it only had a 5 minute wait, still a classic. I think this version of the ride is even better than Disneyland. What do you think?
An actual rose!
Walls came down at Peter Pan to reveal some fresh paint and shields.
Walls still up here as well.
Permanent sign explaining that Anna and Elsa appear in the 3PM parade.
Only a 45 minute wait though, which is very low for this meet and greet.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was down for the entire two hours I was in the park this weekend.
Over in Tomorrowland, more of the Astro Orbitor keeps returning, and the planets are back and looking very colorful.
Little Green Man approves.
Time to go!
