Managers at the Disneyland Paris Resort have turned their attention to the resort hotels, and it’s about time. Some of them really needed it. As usual, our gratitude goes to Max Fan, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster for his great photos.

Let’s start with the big project on the NewPort Bay Club where work progresses on the facades which were in pretty bad shape. The fences surrounding restaurants are down and half of the hotel is still under major renovation. Work is also going on inside but we didn’t have access to take photos. We should have some soon.

Hotel restaurants are also in renovation with a new floor and new interior decorations. During the project, the Convention Center has been turned into the only restaurant with a buffet.

Yes, folks, that’s how dirty the facade was – it was about time that they did a complete renovation.

Let’s move to the Sequoia Lodge nearby. On our way we notice sheep grazing on the resort grounds! Yes, real sheep. Another manifestation of Disneyland Paris’ eco-friendly efforts.

Renovation is complete on the Sequoia Lodge, and the project was relatively minor. It’s always a pleasure, though, to visit the hotel grounds and enjoy the genuine Sequoia trees that were planted many years ago.

At the Cheyenne Hotel, nothing has changed except the renovation of the roads. The garden here supplies the vegetables used for the Ratatouille served at Bistro Chez Remy .

The Santa Fe Hotel nearby also had a renovation which is also complete. The outdoor vegetation was changed a bit and now fits better with the new theme, inspired by Pixar Cars.
