Over at One Man’s Dream, the large New Fantasyland model is now gone. Perhaps an Avatar model will fall there soon.

Big news this week out of the Studios is that the Backlot Tour will be leaving forever after October 5th. Rumors are suggesting that a Pixar Place expansion could be in the works, as well as a clone of the Toy Story Playland from Hong Kong. That would mean some flat rides and carnival settings, which I might not be a fan of. That said, no details have been announced yet, so who knows. I was a fan of the Backlot Tour when the Studios first opened and it was a lengthy and informative tour, but now that it is a shell of its former self, I’m not too sad to see it go.

The American Idol Experience is also now all closed up, and it seems like the next step for this building is a permanent home for the Frozen singalong. That said, all signage is now gone as well for AIE.
