Disneyland turned 57 years young yesterday. The occasion was marked by a simple ceremony in the park in which Wat’s opening day speech was played over the loud speakers. No matter how many times you hear it, it always inspires emotion. This week, the MiceChat Round Up brings you amazing Black and White photographs, rumors that a Monorail may be added in Florida, and lots of news and photos from the parks. We also share some great trip reports and a special happy birthday column to Disneyland from our own Al Lutz!

Walt Disney World

This week we have a lot of questions that need answering in the Walt Disney World forum. How long will the Main Street Electrical Parade be at WDW, which resort has the best transportation, and, to start celebrating EPCOT’s 30th early, what’s your favorite ride at EPCOT are just some of the questions being asked this week in the forum. Take a look and help answer some of our members’ most pressing questions, or ask your own! ~yoyoflamingo

California Grill Rehab…

Favorite ride in EPCOT
Let’s start celebrating EPCOT’s 30th just a wee bit early (though it’s never too early to celebrate EPCOT, in my opinion). What’s your favorite ride there? Answer the poll, or list your favorites in the thread!

Support Cancer Research and get a FREE WDW ebook!
Our fantastic blog, Dateline Disney World shares some information from their Disney Photography Blog about donating to a worthy cancer research fund. As a thank you, they are including a free WDW ebook! Not a bad deal. Check it out!

$20 Million per Mile Monorail
An interesting discussion in this thread about the expansion of the monorail (a popular topic, but always an interesting one). With a new proposal for a monorail from the airport, would the figure of $20 million a mile affect Disney’s decision? Discuss it here.

Is Mickey’s Christmas Party Worth the Extra Money?
It’s time for Christmas in July! Or, at least a discussion of it. Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party worth the upcharge? View people’s opinions and share your own here!

Which resort hotel has the best transportation system?
A seemingly simple question, but with many different variations. In your opinion, which resort has the best transportation system?

How long will Disney’s Electrical Parade be at Walt Disney World?
Often on the boards, a thread with a simple question turns into a discussion. That’s the case here. Not only is there a discussion about the possible return of Spectromagic, but the naming and floats used in the MSEP. Join the discussion here.
