One of the questions I come across while chatting with guests, both new and veteran, is whether or not club level is “worth it.” Worthiness is definitely subjective, but if you’re considering the splurge, here are a few of the main perks for a Walt Disney World club level guest.

Club Level Availability

Club level rooms are available at every deluxe resort on property. While each resort varies slightly in its offerings, the basics are pretty much identical.

Itinerary Planning Office

Prior to your arrival, you have access to your resort, you have your very own team of planners working on your behalf to arrange pretty much anything you can imagine from dining reservations to tours to spa appointments and everything in between. Looking for something different to try on your next trip? The itinerary planning office (IPO) can offer up suggestions or even help put together something special. First trip? The IPO can plan your trip from start to finish. Seasoned veteran? They can book your dining and leave the rest to you.

Dedicated Concierge

Once you arrive at your resort, the club level concierge is at your service. From check-in to check-out, you are treated like royalty. Looking for a last minute reservation? Ring the concierge or stop by the desk, and they’re on top of it. Not sure what to do on your down day? The concierge cast members can help with a list of resort activities or other options around Walt Disney World property tailored to your family. Wish you’d grabbed a yeti hat and no plans to visit Animal Kingdom again? They’ll send a runner to pick it up and deliver it to your door. On that note, any resort deliveries will also be delivered to your room (and left for you if you’re not “home”) instead of the resort gift shop.

The staff is ready to honor any request, need or want for guests. Some requests are granted for a cost, while others are on the mouse house. Favorite beverages can be purchased and delivered to your room, dietary needs can be shopped for, battery chargers can be borrowed, events can be planned, lost teeth can be celebrated with a gift from Tinker Bell. Give the cast members some the parameters, time and, if needed, financial means, and your wish is their command.

Club Lounge

Another nice perk of club leveldom is the access to the club lounge. The lounge offers a coffee service, continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, hot appetizers in the evenings and desserts and cordials to say good night. Menus are often easily found online, but you can also request one when checking in. Inquire about any additional items that you may not see on the buffet. For example, during our last stay, cast members would often break out the apple juice boxes when they saw our crew coming (despite their absence on the counters). Chocolate milk is also a popular request that is kept on hand. Alcoholic beverages, also available at no extra charge, are available when not being offered as part of a food service. Make sure to bring your ID if you plan to partake.

The lounges also offer a nice spot to relax if someone wants to nap in the room or is still getting ready. Comfy chairs, tables, televisions and restroom access make the lounges a nice place to light for a while. Some lounges even offer amazing views of the parks and are a popular gathering spot for fireworks.

Have you stayed club level at Walt Disney World? Was it worth it for you?
