You would think that we have covered the new Ratatouille attraction at Disneyland Paris from every imaginable angle, but we have found one more…and it’s how great the new land looks at night. Thanks to the great pictures of Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster, you’ll see the magnificent lighting job that WDI Imagineers accomplished in Ratatouille Land.

We all know how talented the the lighting specialists at WDI are – one of the best examples is the magnificent lighting that Michael Valentino did for Space Mountain in Discoveryland – but here the trick was to have the lighting of this Parisian area look realistic, as it is in Paris. I think they’ve succeeded pretty well, with lights in almost every window of the buildings and the lampposts are the same as in Paris, etc. They did a great job, and I’m sure you will enjoy these photos!

Although the Ratatouille merchandise shop is not yet open, the sign is now in place for “Chez Marianne, Souvenirs de Paris”, which should open in just a few days.
