We have a great new DLP pictorial update for you – as always, thanks to Max Fan, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster – and today we’ll take a look at the long awaited Ratatouille merchandise shop “Chez Marianne, Souvenirs de Paris” which has finally opened in Walt Disney Studios Paris!
Let’s start the tour by walking from the Walt Disney Studios entrance through Studio 1. Max took some pictures of the Christmas lighting inside it.
Alrighty, let’s move over to Ratatouille land and its new merchandise shop.
The theming inside the shop is inspired by early 1900’s “art nouveau” style. It seems that the WDI Imagineers have rediscovered art nouveau as they are using it in other new projects, including the Shanghaî Disneyland 5 star hotel opening with the park in late 2015 (if there is no delay). According to Max they did a real nice job on this new shop. Let’s have a look in pictures.
And the merchandise itself, you ask? Well, as the shop is called “Souvenirs de Paris” you’ll find not only merchandise items inspired by ratatouille but also some by The Aristocats characters and Paris itself with plenty of Eiffel Tower packaging!
Outside, WDS guests can meet Mickey and Minnie in Christmas costumes…
At Disneyland Park next door, renovation has ended on the Main Street Transportation Company building – it now looks as good as it did on opening day!
At Disney Village, the “Pause & Play” food cart has been repainted with a green color to promote the new Coca Cola Life drink – DLP has a partnership with Coca Cola. The new drink is purportedly designed with an ecological spirit…at least that’s what they say…
