For $25 for adults or $15 for kids, guests will walk the red carpet inside AMC CityWalk and enjoy live DJ dance party on the second level of the theater with appearances by Universal characters the Minions, Doc Brown, Dracula, Frankenstein and the quintessential Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe, in honor of the theme park’s 50th anniversary.

One interesting change to the CityWalk New Year’s Eve festivities is the absence of fireworks and outdoor concert performances. There is actually a good reason for the shift. CityWalk is situated right up against the back side of construction for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter which will be opening in 2016. So, sparks are out of the question for this year.
